Great app for house painting

Love the app. It is a whole lot better than trying to visualize what a paint swatch will look like on the entire wall. All I had to do was take a picture of the paint swatch and see what it was like covering the wall. You DO need to make touch ups to make sure only the area you want is painted, but that is infinitely shorter than painting the wall and finding out it was the wrong color and needing to repaint! :)

Fail!

Really doesnt work very well.

New version puts a lot more nifty features to already useful app

I was one of the early adopters when the first version of this app came out, and I admit, back then the app allowed some basic photo editing functionality, but needed some refinement to be called mainstream. But this time around, it looks as though the dev took a few cues from the user comments and has made significant improvements to the app which improve the usability factor. Although its no photoshop, it provides me just the color editing functions that I need to visualize my home improvement ideas conveniently on the go, without having to go back to my computer and tweak the snaps in photoshop. This app lives up to its Keep it simple concept and still does that very well indeed. Just a word of advice though, it helped me a lot to follow the tutorial for the app before I started using it. Given the complexity of the features it allows you to use, its easy for a novice like myself to get lost in them if you decide to dive right in, but the instructions provided are very informative(and not exhaustive I might add - I hate reading long user manuals myself!) and had me working the app very quickly. Definitely a keeper IMO.

Not good

Dont waste your buck, this app isnt worth your time or money. It is just a poor version of photo shop with far from realistic results. I promise you will be disappointed if you expect results as are described in the app store.

Horrbile.

Dont waste your money.

Nice App

Interesting App...I was skeptical based on mixed reviews but it actually works. You have to do some erasing sometimes but it helps you see the painted wall. The effects arent bad either..I wish this was integrated with Instagram :)

Not realistic

Doesnt offer typical paint colors, doesnt actually enter the color chosen, difficult to select the area with the color you want to change.

I should have listened to the reviews

Non-HD ?! Its 2011 going on 2012. I hope there is an update that at the very least brings HD.

Doesn

I am painting a large great room and hoped to use this app to simulate what it would look like painted different colors. I was very happy with the first two colors I selected (from pics of actual paint chips), but when I tried a couple of greens, the app failed miserably...the walls just looked like a yellowish pale green when the actual colors were very deep greens. So, this app did not help me at all in narrowing down my selections:(

Dont care for it.

Very poor photo quality. No response from developer. I have a free app thats better in my opinion.

Poor App

This app is not worth anything. Want take pictures. Hard to use. Dont waste your money!!!

Not worth it

All the paint chips cost additional money to buy. You can do a better job with a paint program on your computer. Money not well spent, at all

Clunky UX. Not a Keeper.

Sorry to say that this app isnt worth paying for at this time. It is clunky and counter-intuitive. I dont like the HEX color spectrum. Id rather have swatches to choose from and/or ability to search for color and swatches could display. I think the UX needs to be informed by customers.

Terrible

Highlighting the area that needs to be painted is extremely difficult !

Pretty cool, but....

The app itself is pretty cool. Love trying different colors on various pictures to find a paint color. CON: All those palettes they say you can get from all the paint makers? Each one costs $1-2 and there are a lot of palettes out there!

Waited for nothing

Ive been waiting for the price to drop on this for some time now, but even at $0.99 its still overpriced.

Helped us pick the color

My wife isnt the best at imagining how things would look and this app definitely helped us out. The area selection process was a bit time consuming though. We ended up purchasing the "All Palette" option since we were trying colors between Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams. Its a bit pricy for what it offers but we were happy with our color choices in the end.

Thieves

I just got ripped off I believe this is illegal Im getting a lawyer
